In Dashboards, you can get a high-level overview of your data. You can create insightful dashboards through widgets based on surveys, advanced search, or gremlin queries. You can make several different widgets out of the same underlying data, and it is possible to copy a dashboard from home screen.

How-to

šŸ†• To create a new dashboard, navigate to the Home page and select "Create new > Dashboard" at the top right corner of the screen.

Surveys

Available chart types: Pie Chart, Timeline.

Survey widgets can be used to track the progress of a survey. You can have widgets showing how many of the responses are valid or invalid. The valid/invalid field indicates the survey statistics where the sections are set as mandatory. In the image below, you can see the overall validation of responses to a survey and also statistics on the responses to the survey. Once you have saved and created a survey widget, you can also open the corresponding survey by clicking on the bottom right side of the widget.

Advanced search

Available chart types: Table, Number, Pie Chart, Timeline.

Once you have saved an advanced search, the results can be displayed in a widget and used to make calculations on number field values and on list fields. You can also track how the data changes over time. The same search can be used in multiple widgets to show different fields.

For an advanced search widget, you can select either number fields that you can sum or average, or you can select a list field that can be shown in any of the chart types.

Gremlin Graph search

Available chart types: Number, Timeline, Pie Chart, Table.

The Pie Chart widget for Gremlin Search queries is available for list fields only.

To find more complex relations in your data, you can use Gremlin Graph Search. The results can be displayed in a dashboard widget, where you can track the progress over time.

Gremlin supports aggregation directly in the query or you can calculate aggregated data straight from the Report Builder.

Finally, you can visualize the dashboard through a presentation slide by clicking on the presentation editor in the top right corner.

āš ļø Note: The deletion of the dashboard is irreversible.

FAQ

Why can’t I select one of the available chart types?

Chart type depends on the data source chosen.

How far back does the timeline go?

When you save a report or search or create a survey, we start capturing daily snapshots of the data.

I don’t see any changes to the timeline after changing the underlying data?

The timeline widgets only show results from up to yesterday. Any changes you make today will be seen in the timeline tomorrow.

Where does the field list come from, because it’s not my survey questions?

The field list is not dependant on the survey question but on the component fields.

Can pie charts show more than 5 values?

This is currently not possible.
