Here’s a round-up of this month’s highlights:

Latest Releases

A Brand-New Version of the Dependency Map

We recently launched an even more powerful version of the Dependency Map. 🎉 You can now:

  • Easily build and analyze complex graphs thanks to the introduction of new view modifiers.

  • Sort reference components, quickly organize, and find the data you need. Sorting helps you visualize and understand your data better.

  • Add grouping rules and:

    • Maintain the network structure. Now, all reference type components remain visible when grouping is applied. It will provide you great context when analyzing your data.

    • Maintain the order in which the groups are added. Uncover new results and gain more insights based on the order in which groups are set.

    • Achieve laser-like focus on relevant components only. Grouping is now context-sensitive. This allows you to exclude components from unselected workspaces.

  • Visualize child components even after fIltering the parent components away.

  • Confidently load and analyze your data with ease. The new version of the Dependency Map is able to handle larger datasets. It shows up to 10 times (10000) more components than the previous version on the first load.

Finally, as part of our work to streamline features across Ardoq, you can now find the ‘Show reference labels’ view modifier under Perspectives > Manage > Formatting tab > Label formatting when browsing the new version of the Dependency Map.

Revamped Beginning and Ending Cardinality Selection Flow

We’ve revisited the flow when defining the source and target cardinality of a reference to make it intuitive and easy to create reference types. You can now select the source and ending cardinality directly from the ‘Create reference’ menu or the ‘Edit reference properties’ menu. This removes the previous need to create one reference type per combination of beginning and ending cardinality. Basically, it allows you to quickly assign and differentiate references. ✨

Improvements to Broadcasts

Broadcasts is Ardoq’s latest functionality that helps you drive engagement across your organization. Here are some enhancements that make this functionality even better:

  • Personalize your broadcast messages even more with your own organization’s logo 🙌. Simply use the logo found in your global organization settings or add your logo directly when creating your message.

  • The search functionality is now available in surveys received via a broadcast. You can now quickly look for specific components available in a targeted broadcast.

  • We’ve added a new column in the broadcast report that displays information about the broadcast reminder. This way, you get a better overview of the reminder’s date and status.

Improvements to Excel File Imports

Save time when re-importing Excel data into Ardoq 🎉. Every time you export a workspace or a search to Excel, we’ll automatically add an embedded mapping configuration to the file. This will store your previous mapping so that if you decide to re-import the same file (with any additional changes), the mapping will be automatically reapplied.
