How to Enable AI Functionality in Your Organization
To create references using AI, start by enabling it in your organization from the Preferences menu > Organization settings > Feature settings > Intelligent data enrichment.
If you don’t see this tab in the Organization settings modal, contact your Account Manager to sign the updated Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which will unlock AI functionalities in Ardoq.
How to Create References Using AI
Open an existing survey with a reference question for “Application” or “Business Capability” component types. If you have the Create surveys privilege enabled, you can check by navigating to the “Define data” step in the Survey builder and see whether “Application” or “Business Capability” are selected in the “Select component type” dropdown.
If creating a survey, select “Reference question” in the “Questions” step.
Next, in the “Define the data” step, choose a workspace containing “Application” or “Business Capability” components. Then, select the appropriate component type from the 'Select component type' dropdown, as shown in the screenshot in step 1. When the user opens the survey form, the AI will assess whether it can offer suggestions based on the question type and selected component type.
Ensure all steps in the builder are completed, especially the reference direction and reference type. This ensures that when you select an AI-suggested component to link to, the correct reference type and direction are automatically applied.
Once you’ve finished creating your survey, publish it, and open the survey form to see Ardoq’s AI in action. You can open it from the Survey builder by clicking on the eye icon at the top right corner of the screen.
Or from the Survey overview page, simply hover on the name of your survey and click on “Answer survey”.In the survey form, select the component you want to update.
Next, find your reference question and expand the dropdown. Look for the “AI suggestions” section at the top, where components with a purple sparkle icon next to their names will be listed.
