Ardoq ShiftX: Permissions and User Access

General Overview

Permissions for Ardoq ShiftX are handled in Ardoq Core and follows the same general patterns with a few exceptions. That means that an Admin in Ardoq Core is an Admin in Ardoq ShiftX. Same goes for writers and readers.

When it comes workspaces and components made available to Ardoq ShiftX it is important to understand how read and write access currently work.

For ShiftX to function as intended the following must be true:

  • Every Reader with access to ShiftX should have at least read access to every workspace mapped to ShiftX

  • Every Writer with access to ShiftX should have write access to every workspace mapped to ShiftX

If this is not true then readers might not be able to see components leveraged in processes and writers might be unable to publish new or updated processes from ShiftX back into Ardoq Core.
