Sharing With Your Entire Organization

We've added a new sharing option called "Entire organization" to let you share assets with all users in your organization at once - including contributors, readers, writers, and admins.

Your existing permissions remain exactly as they are. The current "All organization members" and "All contributors" options continue to work unchanged. You now simply have an additional, more convenient option when you want to share with everyone.

The naming of "All organization members" has been confusing since it didn't actually include all of your Ardoq users. The new "Entire organization" option provides a clear, straightforward way to share an asset with everyone.

Example 1: You have a report that everyone should access. Previously, you needed to share it with both "All organization members" and "All contributors" separately. Now, you can simply select "Entire organization" to give everyone access at once.

Example 2: You have a survey for everyone to complete. Previously, you needed to share it with both groups separately. Now, "Entire organization" handles this in one step.

Below we show how to use sharing with the "Entire organization" to simplify the permissions setup for a survey. We remove the permissions assigned to "All contributors" and "All organization members", and instead give "Entire organization" the permission to submit survey answers.

For more efficient bulk editing of permissions, you can also use the Access Overview, which is available for admin users. Below we use the Asset type filter to show only the assets we are interested in, and then use copy and paste operations to quickly give access to "Entire organization", while revoking access for "All organization members" and "All contributors".
