What is Survey Response Approvals?
Survey Response Approvals is a feature that allows survey creators to dynamically assign approvers to review and validate data submitted through surveys before it's added to your organization's data. This ensures that crowdsourced information is validated by the appropriate people, maintaining data accuracy and trust.
Why am I seeing this trial?
Ardoq is offering you a 60-day self-service trial for the Survey Response Approvals feature. You're invited to try out the functionality to help you gauge whether your organisation could benefit from establishing approval workflows.
Survey Response Approvals enhances your data governance by enabling a structured review process for survey responses. It helps you to:

How do I enable the feature?
Given that you're an admin in your Ardoq Organization, you'll see a 'Start Trial' banner on the Response Approval step in the Survey Builder.
1. Clicking 'Start Trial' will take you to the "Features" page under Preferences > Organization Settings.
2. You can then toggle the Survey Response Approval trial switch to enable the trial for your Organization.
3. The trial is then active, you can now start adding approval workflows to your critical surveys.
Note: If your Ardoq Organization does NOT have access to Ardoq Discover, you'll instead see a message explaining that you need access to Discover and to "Contact Us" us. This will let your Account Manager and Customer Success Manager know your are interested in the trying feature.
Add Response Approval to a Survey:

1. When setting up a survey, you can enable the "Response Approval" option.
2. In the Survey Builder, proceed through the steps to define your survey.
3. Continue through the steps until you reach the “Response Approvals” step.
4. Toggle the 'Enable Response Approvals' switch to turn on the approval workflow.
5. Choose the Approval Configuration (By Users and User Group, By Relationship, or By Advanced Relationship).
6. Select a Backup Approver.
7. Finish configuring the survey.
8. Save and publish your survey.
How do I get access to the feature when the trial ends?
After the trial ends, the Survey Response Approval feature will be disabled in your Ardoq organization. If you want to continue using the feature, you'll see a prompt within Ardoq to contact us. This prompt will help you start a conversation with our support team about your interest in ongoing access. Our team will then follow up with you to discuss the Business Continuity and Resilience Add-on, which includes the Survey Response Approval functionality. If you choose to purchase the Business Continuity and Resilience add-on, the Survey Response Approval feature will be activated again.
If you decide not to purchase the add-on, the feature will be disabled and removed from your organization.
How do I opt out of the trial?
The trial is self-service, so you can simply do nothing, and the feature will not be enabled on your account. If you need the in-app banner removed, you can write to our Customer Support and they will help you remove it from your Organisation.
