How to use the Importer
1. Open Ardoq Frameworks & Resources Importer
From the Import & Integration page, select the Ardoq Frameworks & Resources importer.
2. Browsing the Resource Library
The Frameworks & Resources importer is a repository of pre-configured frameworks, capability models, industry models, quality models, regulations, and more that Ardoq provides to customers to help enrich their data set. Ardoq will continue to add and update resources to this repository.
This library of resources can be viewed in a grid view or as a list for easy navigation. You can also use the search function to find what you are looking for specifically.
Once you have identified which resource you would like to load into your organization, select the resource to initiate the import process.
3. Navigating the Import Process
The import process is a streamlined process requiring minimal user intervention. Once you have selected the desired resource, a pop-up window will appear showing the component and reference types that will be created, as well as the target workspace.
Click Review Import to move to the next step.
4. Review and Visualize Import
In this window, you should see a preview of everything to be imported into your organization.
Here you can see that 1 workspace will be created, along with 1,857 components and 10 fields. Hovering over each tile will show a preview of the data set.
If your review Import looks good, then click import.
Now that the data has been imported, we can view the reference data set.
Here, we can see the data has been loaded into the proper workspace, the components have been loaded in and are structured correctly in their hierarchy, and the components all have the proper component types and styling.
That is how you use the Frameworks & Resources Importer. Just follow this process again to load another resource into your org.

Locked Resources
As you navigate the frameworks & resources repository, some of the resources are greyed out and not available to import.
This is because some of the resources that we have are only available to customers who have a membership or license for those specific frameworks. To get access to a resource for which you have a membership or license, please reach out to our tech support team to validate the membership, and they will enable the resource for you.
