Ardoq is very customizable and can support a majority of notations.

Supported notations

ArchiMate

Ardoq comes with ArchiMate 3.1 templates out-of-the-box, including custom shapes, icons, and meta models.

We have loaded the ArchiMate 3.1-specific types, so we also support certain features from 3.1, such as the Value Stream notation.

BPMN

Ardoq comes with a standard set of BPMN icons out-of-the-box so you can create your own BPMN model that matches your requirements. You’ll probably want to primarily use the Swimlanes and Block Diagram views.

Check out our BPMN workspace template step-by-step guide on how to connect your top-level process map to your living data.

Partially supported notations

UML

Though you can customize your Ardoq model to closely match UML diagrams, we do not currently offer strict UML support.
