To create a new process in Ardoq ShiftX navigate to Processes and hit the "New Process" button in the upper right corner. Every process in ShiftX requires an owner. This could be either a Role or a Person. Give you process a name like "Order to cash" or "Employee onboarding" and hit create.
This will take you to the process overview page. To start editing the process hit the "Open editor" button.
Now you are ready to start modeling your first process. A process in Ardoq ShiftX starts with a "Start" and ends with a default "Success" output. Outputs can be configured, and a single process can have multiple outputs.
To start editing your process hit the "+" button and select "Step" to add your first process step. A process step is the smallest building block within a process, and normally includes at least one process actor as part of a narrative. A process actor is normally the who (role) or the what (application) that "acts" in the particular step of the process. An example would be "Customer sends email to Customer Service". In this case the "Customer" and "Customer Service" would be the actors. Hitting the "@" key while typing opens up the library where you can search for the actors as you are typing.

The final process step will then look like this:

Keep adding steps, decisions and sub-processes by hovering over any line and clicking the "+" button.
