You can export the following from Ardoq:
An entire workspace — components and references — to an Excel file
The graphs from your views (with some exceptions) to PNG, SVG, or PDF files
Excel and JSON export via reports
How to Export Workspace Data to Excel
You can export any workspace to Excel from the asset library on the home page by selecting the workspace and clicking the More options (⋮) button on the right then selecting Export.
You can also export a workspace to Excel from the sidebar when viewing the workspace.
A workspace export will typically output several worksheets:
Component sheet with associated fields
Reference sheet per target workspace and the associated reference fields (only outgoing references will be exported)
How to Download a Graph as a PNG or SVG
Most of the views in Ardoq that display graphs let you export the canvas to PNG or SVG formats. You can find the download option in the top-right corner of most graphs.
Note: In the case you want to present your data to your team or organization, we recommend using the Presentation Mode.
Exporting via Data Inventory
The Data Inventory provides a powerful way to filter and structure your data before moving it into a report for export.
Create Reports from Inventory: You can generate a new report directly from your current Data Inventory view. This allows you to capture the specific columns, filters, and sorting you’ve applied.
Workflow:
Open Data Inventory and configure your columns (including reference columns).
Apply filters to narrow down the dataset.
Click the "Create Report" button (found within the Data Inventory interface).
Once the report is created, use the Download icon at the top of the report page to export the data to Excel or JSON.
How to Export Data from Reports
You can export report data by navigating to the report and clicking the Download icon at the top of the page.
