Components or References can be categorized by tags. This gives your information extra analytical dimensions.
Tags are very useful to filter (or exclude) components or references from your visualizations. Use the Tagscape View view to show you all contents tagged with something.
Adding tags
To add tags to a component or reference, simply right click the object and select “Edit Properties”, then add tags in the resulting dialog:
You can also group by tag in Block Diagram and Relationships View, but note that references cannot be grouped by tag. Only components can be grouped by tag.
