Saudi Arabia Data Residency lets your organization run Ardoq entirely on infrastructure located inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, so you always know exactly where your data lives, backed by the same enterprise-grade security and resilience you'd expect anywhere else.
How your Saudi Arabia environment is hosted
When you choose Saudi Arabia as your hosting location, your Ardoq tenant runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Your production environment is based in Riyadh, and your backups are kept separately in Jeddah, both inside the Kingdom, so your data stays local from the start.
What stays in Saudi Arabia
With Saudi Arabia Data Residency, the following stay inside the Kingdom:
The tenant data your team loads into Ardoq
The configuration and metadata that keep your workspace running
Encrypted database snapshots and attachment backups
Application logs generated by your Saudi Arabia environment
How we keep your data secure
Saudi Arabia Data Residency runs on the same security standards we apply everywhere, including:
Encryption at rest, using cloud-native key management
TLS encryption for data in transit
Access controls and audit logging across your environment
Backups that stay encrypted and access-controlled at every step
AI features and your data
Ardoq operates a zero data retention policy with our AI provider, so nothing you send through an AI feature is stored. Ardoq's AI features are processed using AWS Bedrock in the EU-North-1 (Stockholm) region; your data passes through for processing and back, but it's never retained there.
What data might still be processed outside Saudi Arabia
A few supporting functions, like email notifications, customer support tooling, and monitoring, run on shared global infrastructure rather than region-specific systems. None of these store your full tenant dataset, though they may briefly handle limited details like an email address or a log identifier. For the complete, current list, see Ardoq's List of Sub-processors.
Backup options for extra peace of mind
Riyadh and Jeddah already give you geographic separation between your primary environment and its backup, both within Saudi Arabia. If you'd like an extra layer of protection, you can also opt into an encrypted secondary backup stored in Ardoq's EU data center. It's encrypted before it ever leaves Saudi Arabia, adding resilience without changing where your live data resides.
Is Saudi Arabia Data Residency available today?
